Description

TzKal-Zuk is the last monster encountered in the Inferno and must be defeated to obtain the Infernal Cape.

Location

Teleports > Minigames > The Inferno

Strategy

TzKal-Zuk is isolated from the platform you are on, so it cannot be attacked with melee. Only ranged or magic attacks will be able to reach Zuk.

As the fight starts, a shield will appear to offer protection from Zuk's attacks. The shield will move, so you will need to move alongside it to avoid taking damage from Zuk. If you are not covered by the shield when Zuk attacks, you run the risk of taking massive damage; Zuk is extremely accurate and can kill you from full hp and its attacks cannot be tick-eaten.

Stages

At 480 hitpoints, a JalTok-Jad will appear and attack the shield.

At 240 hitpoints, Zuk will become enraged as it fights for its life, summoning four Jal-MejJaks on the lava in front of it. Once attacked, they will stop healing Zuk.
