Your drop rate, when calculated alongside an items base drop rate, is what determines whether or not you receive a drop.
For example, if an item has a base rate of 1 in 200, but you have a drop rate modifier of 50%, your odds of receiving this drop would be 1 in 100.
Paragon has many ways to increase your drop rate modifier, such as having a certain item equipped or the drop rate modifier based on your donator rank.
